Christmas Decorations & Lights Contest offers huge prizes to winners; VOTE NOW!

The Monroe County Herald is pleased to present our second annual Christmas Decorations & Lights Contest. Also sponsoring this contest are the Bank of Brinkley, First Commercial Bank in Brinkley, Merchants & Planters Bank in Clarendon, and First National Bank of Eastern Arkansas in Holly Grove.

The contest was open to all homes and businesses in Monroe County and submissions had to be in by 6 pm on Monday, December 13. We received five entries, all pictured above. Now it's up to the readers to decide who will win the prizes! Voting began on Thursday, December 16 and will continue until midnight on Friday, December 31. Winners will be announced in our January 7, 2022 edition and prizes will be awarded the following week.
Prizes are 1st place: $300, 2nd place: $200 and 3rd place: $100.
