Final edition of our paper "Heralds" arrival of the new Monroe County Argus

As announced last week, Hayden Taylor has sold theMonroe County Herald to Andrew Bagley and Chuck Davis who currently own and operate the Helena World, making this

the final edition of the Monroe County Herald.

Our readers will be pleased to know that Glenda Arnett, undoubtedly the heart and soul of the Herald and several other papers in Monroe County for over 55 years, plans to

continue working with the new paper, which will be titled Monroe County Argus. The name pays homage to former county publications The Brinkley Argus and the Monroe County Sun. Published on Wednesdays, the first edition of the Argus is planned for August 31. All current subscriptions will be honored by the new owners.
