by Terri Ann Hall - CONTRIBUTING WRITER

It is time to finish your Angel Tree shopping and wrapping!! The drop off day is this Monday, December 18th, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m at the Clarendon Church of Christ, located at 532 N. 2nd Street. Please deliver coats and gifts during these hours. Please wrap gifts, but do not wrap coats. Most importantly, if you took an angel or coat please make sure you drop off the gifts. Angel Tree is sponsored by the Clarendon American Legion Auxiliary. This project is for children in need in the Clarendon and Holly Grove area, in conjunction with the Monroe County Division of Children and Family Services.

Please remember to remove all tags from items purchased. Gifts may be wrapped or placed in gift bags. Multiple gifts should be assembled in one large bag to keep them together. Please attach your angel to the bag when returning it, however, do not wrap coats.

All cash donations made to the Angel Tree project are used specifically for the purchase of clothes, coats, toys and/or food for the children on the Angel Tree. Checks should be made to the American Legion Auxiliary, and can be mailed to American Legion Auxiliary, c/o Tricia Rogers, P.O. Box 13, Clarendon, AR 72029.

All names for the Angel Tree are provided by the Monroe County Division of Children and Family Services and can only be added through them.
