Stephen was an outdoorsman, he loved to fish, hunt, and ride his four-wheeler when his health allowed. He enjoyed working to provide for his family. He enjoyed taking vacations and spending time with his children. He loved to cook. He was a bit of a jokester, so you were going to laugh, if you were around Stephen. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Stuttgart, AR. He made a profession of faith and was baptized at North Maple Baptist Church in Stuttgart, AR, when he was a teenager. He will be greatly missed by his family. Stephen is preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Franklin and Ursula Sandine. There will be a memorial service planned and announced at a later date. Memorial donations are requested to be sent to Arkansas Children’s Hospital Burn Center PO Box 2222, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203. Stephen was a patient there for three months in 2003, that is when he discovered he had diabetes. It caused him to pass out while cooking and he had burns on his face. They took care of him and several other burn patients. He would certainly be grateful for any memorial donations.
