Born in Coatbridge, Scotland on January 12, 1928, she met the love of her life, James “Jim” Stinson during his military service in England. He brought her to the United States, and they were married on November 9, 1951, in Tampa, FL. Nan and Jim raised three sons, welcomed four grandsons and seven great grandchildren. She was active in St. John the Baptist Church and was beloved in their community. Nan embraced life in the U.S., but remained a proud “Scottish lass” retaining her charming accent, her determined work ethic and her love of fun and family to whom she was affectionately known as Nana.

She is survived by sons, Larry (Penny), Jim (Phyllis) and Frank (Sharon), grandsons, Chris (Lynne), Patrick, and Matthew (Amy), daughter-in-law, Lee Ann Wilson, (Steve), great-grandchildren Deacon, Liam, Reed, Charlotte, Kerrigan, Sydney, and Madi.
