Shannon Lee Spears August 10, 1987 – September 14, 2020

Shannon Lee Spears of Brinkley passed away with her boyfriend of five years, LaTerrance Ray "Sugar Ray" Brown, due to a tragic motor vehicle accident, at the age of 33. Shannon was born to Curtis Spears and Debbie Bogard. She was a self-taught artist who loved painting, especially the Razorbacks. Anywhere Shannon went it seemed that there was music playing. It didn't matter what type, as long as the music was loud, she would happily listen to it.
Several years ago a special cause was presented to Shannon. It was a cause that would literally have a permanent impact. Shannon and her oldest daughter, Autumn, tattooed matching 'Semicolon Suicide Awareness Symbols' onto their wrists. It represents hope even to this day.
Shannon leaves behind many who will cherish her memory, including, her father, Curtis; her mother, Debbie; a son, Robert Sullins; two daughters, Autumn Sullins, and Kaitlyn Sullins; one brother, B.J. Kellensworth; grandmother, Clara (late Robert) Spears; her favorite uncle in the whole world, whom she loved to pester constantly, Jimmy Spears; two aunts, Teresa (Clem) Hickman, and Ann (late Robert) Clemons; a niece, Ryan Kellensworth; and a host of other family and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19 at Prospect Cemetery in Moro. Services were entrusted to Fowler Funeral Home of Brinkley.
